ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

The BECAUSE I CARE FOUNDATION, INC. is a nonprofit organization
incorporated in Arizona. The foundation was created by Sharon
Freeman in hopes to spread awareness, education, and support. Since
the beginning, our site has been reached by thousands of people
from various parts of the world, some who have contacted Sharon
personally for advocacy and support. Sharon is De`Vion's mother.
De`Vion is Sharon's hero. De`Vion is the proud big brother of three
year old Donovan and infant brother David-Anthony.

Because I care does not allow advertisements from companies or
individuals for the purpose of commercial gains with the exception of
companies that become sponsors of the organization in support of
our cause. We currently network with other organizations and
advocates to gain further research and educational knowledge for all
visitors and plan to continue this process in the future.

OUR MISSION

Our goal is to provide support to parents, children, and adults who
are affected by the various birthmark-related conditions listed on our
site. We are here as advocates, to provide guidance and assistance in
locating medical resources and information as well as financial
assistance for medical needs related to the person's condition or
assistance in paying for travel expenses necessary to treat the
person's condition.
