| SUPPORT THE FOUNDATION Together we can make sure that those that need it most have access to proper medical care. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our goal with the foundation is primarily geared towards helping children and adults reach the doctors and hospitals that are familiar with our various malformations. Too many families are unable to afford to travel and as a result, have to accept less than appropriate care from health care professionals who do not know enough about these conditions to treat each person safely. Our own founder knows all too well how unfortunate this is and as a result, has made a promise that through Because I Care, families will not have to make tough decisions and sacrifices because of their inability to reach the doctors that they need. The secondary financial goal for the foundation is to assist with out of pocket expenses for medically necessary items for those who may not be able to afford it. Items may vary for each persons individual case but may include things such as custom fitting shoes, glasses, wound care bandages, etc. |
